The Pearl: Final Reflection

The pearl i thought was a good book. There were some boring parts though that i didn't  like. If there were more action parts it would be better. Steinbeck has a very weird sense of writing. Even though the book was boring i thought it was a good book.

Chapter 3 was really good because there was more excitement and it made sense. So far chapter 3 was my favorite part in the book.. It was the best because it explains what is going on really clearly. The author painted a clear picture in my head. I like this author because he explains what is going on in the book and he has an interesting vocabulary.

The Pearl : Will the pearl destroy the family?

The pearl will destroy the family if Kino doesn't get rid of it. Juana believes the pearl will destroy her and Kino because Kino is changing his personality because of the pearl. His personality changed because now he cant trust anyone.  If someone steals the pearl, Kino might think Juana took it because she wanted him to get rid of it and he didn't.
