Diary Of A Wimpy Kid by : Jeff Kinney

Boys don't keep diaries or do they? Well in Diary of a Wimpy Kid by: Jeff Kinney the main character Gregory Heffley does. In book one of this debut series Greg is happy to have Rowley, his best friend also along for the ride. But when Rowley copies Greg his popularity gets boosted up leaving Greg behind.

As Greg said in the book, “Just don’t expect me to be all ‘Dear Diary’ this and ‘Dear Diary’ that.” But what Greg says he won’t do and what he actually does are two very different things.

The Author of this stupendous series, Jeff Kinney has published 5 books and their making the second movie which is Rodrick Rules.Diary of a Wimpy Kid first began on a website called funbrain.com. When the book was finally published it was the #1 New York Times Bestseller.

Summer

Summer is my favorite season because school is done and it is the warmest. I also like summer because I play football everyday at the beach. Spring is my second favorite season. My least favorite season is winter because it is so cold and you cant play football.

Chain Story .

Once upon a time there was a pigeon named Bob who liked to eat pizza. Bob would steal pizza from pizza hut every day. He never has been caught before, but that changed on May,27th, 1992. It was a hot summer day when Bob wanted some pizza. Then he went to the phone and called in an order for a large pepperoni pizza and some bread sticks.
Bob flew to pizza hut and when he got there he saw his pizza and bread sticks. He bolted to his food and turned but right as he was about to get away the door slammed shut and he flew right into it and was knocked out. 5 hours later he woke up in a jail cell with a straight jacket on. Bob finally got busted. He was charged with theft so he spent 3 years in jail. The pigeon was very depressed because he couldn't have pizza. It was lunch and the bird met a new friend. His friends name was Justin Bieber. Justin was in jail for singing so horrible so he is in jail for life and he is not allowed to sing in jail ever. 5 years later Bob was released and stole pizza again.

SuperBowl

The Super Bowl happens once a year and is the most watched show in the world. In the super bowl there are two team that battle for the super bowl trophy and for bragging rights. This year it was the Green Bay Packers vs The Pittsburgh Steelers. The Packers beat the Steelers 31-25.

Packers

The packers are the best team in the NFL. They are going to the Superbowl on Sunday vs the Steelers. The packers are going to crush the Pittsburgh Steelers 38-21 Packers winning the Superbowl for the 5th time. Clay Matthews is going to have 2 sacks along with B.J Raji, Tramon Williams with 2 interceptions,Charles Woodson with 1 interception. Aaron Rodgers with 300 yards and Greg Jennings with 100 yards and James Starks with 145 yards. When the Packers win i am going to do a snow angel in the snow without snow cloths on.

What would you do if you found a pearl? The Pearl by John Steinbeck was boring in the beginning. In the middle of the book is when the story really begins to get interesting and make sense. John Steinbeck went from dark to light to happy back to dark.
The Pearl was about two teens a girl and a boy. The boys name is Kino and the girl’s name is Juana. They are married and had a child named Coyotito. John Steinbeck has a weird way of writing a book but, it is easier to understand.
Kino has black hair, a mustache, brown forehead, a hat, and is young. He thinks about songs and Kino feels bad that the baby got stung by the scorpion. Kino is strong, religious, fierce, and very protective. Juana also has black hair and very dark eyes. She wore a blue shawl with a skirt and braids in her hair. She thought about songs and how to help the family. Juana is caring, kind, proud, obedient, and always determined.

Deep Water By: William O. Douglas

Deep Water

            How would you feel if you were drowning? In the story Deep Water by William O. Douglas, he dealt with the same problem. He is afraid of water so when the bully threw him into the deep end of a pool. William didn’t know how to swim so he couldn’t get above water. While he was trying swim to the top of the water he wasn’t able because he can’t swim.

His lungs were gasping for air but they weren’t getting anything but water and more water. Everything was starting to go black. William was starting to die and just give up when suddenly the instructor pulled him out of the water. He asked an Instructor to teach him how to swim. You learned anybody can overcome your fears no matter what they are.

The lesson of this short story is that you can overcome any fear that you have. It doesn’t matter if you’re scared of bugs, death, injury, heights, ect: everybody has some kind of fear. But if you wait too long you may never overcome your fear. If you have a fear you should overcome it when you’re still young because if you try to overcome it when you’re old you might not be able to try it.

The story Deep Water was an amazing book from my point of view. It teaches you a lesson about overcoming your fears. If you can overcome your fears you might do thing you never thought you would ever do in your live like go on roller coasters, rock climbing, go in an airplane, ect.
